On 4th March 2009, Bob Jones, EGEE and Ake Edlund, BalticGrid-II signed a Memorandum of Understanding detailing how BalticGrid-II will interact with EGEE on an infrastructure and application level as the European grid community moves towards the European Grid Initiative. The document was signed in Catania, Italy, during the EGEE UF/OGF25.
