The main objective of the Cracow Grid Workshops, which were initiated in 2001, is to support the community of researchers, developers, and practitioners who work in the fascinating field of e-Science, grid systems, and their applications.
CGW'08 will address the following topics: 1) e-Science, system-level science and collaborative applications, 2) models, methods and tools for collaborative applications development, 3) virtual laboratories and problem solving environments, 4) knowledge in e-Science and grid systems, 5) virtual organizations and security aspects, 6) resource management and scheduling, 7) monitoring and information management, 8) software engineering aspects, 9) industrial and social implications.
